I deleted a photo, but the recipient still has it. If not, there really isn’t a way to recall it from the recipient’s devices. If the message appears, you can delete it. Select ‘yes’ and proceed through the setup process. WhatsApp should ask you if you want to restore all of your messages. You can try to uninstall the app from your phone then redownload it. Unfortunately, it is incredibly difficult to retrieve a message you’ve deleted so that you can delete it again for everyone. I accidentally deleted a message for me rather than everyone.
If you permanently delete your account your sent messages remain on the other user’s app.
Unfortunately, this same principle applies to deleting your account. The only thing that will change if you block a contact is they will no longer be able to see your profile nor will they be able to message or call you.
